-Quality tree work
"We are lucky enough to be custodians of a beautiful 100+ year old English Oak tree. In the storms and high winds of 2011 a large crack opened up down one side of the 10m girth trunk putting the tree at risk of splitting and being lost. We were advised by a local tree expert that in order to preserve the tree 30 percent of the canopy would need to be cropped to reduce the load on the compromised structure. This filled us with dread as we could not see how it could be achieved without destroying the appearance and integrity of the tree. I asked his advice on who to contact as the best tree surgeon he could recommend who would be skilled enough to do the work required and to do it as sympathetically as possible and he suggested Ben Kincaid.
The Oak tree is enormous and during two days work Ben scaled every inch of the tree with ropes and harness using chain saw and ropes to trim and lower large pieces of wood and a hand saw for all the smaller branches. Every piece of dead wood including twigs was removed and great care was taken by Ben to keep the shape of the tree beautiful from all aspects which involved several trips up and down the road to look at it overall from a distance. Ben’s care in his work and attention to detail was remarkable; it was a joy to watch. The Oak looked wonderful when the work was completed with all dead wood removed and sympathetic weight reduction and there was no loss in stature – still huge.
I cannot recommend Ben’s work highly enough and will be forever grateful for his great skill and craftsmanship in preserving the Oak".

"Thanks for your advice on how best to manage the small group of
assorted native trees in our back yard. We pushed a list of
requirements to you, and let you work it out, and you did.
We asked for good health and longevity in the long term, remedial work
right now on dead and diseased growth, but with minimal loss of form
and habitat, and safety for us and everyone else, all without giving
cause for upset to the neighbours. You explained what needed to be
done, and then did it, efficiently and competently. Nigel cleaned up,
the job was over, and you made it look easy. A proper
arboriculturalist. Many thanks."

"Ben Kincaid has attended my property in Bodalla NSW on several occasions in the capacity of tree climber / arborist.
He conducted and supervised the removal of numerous trees, including two very large eucalypts, prior to the construction of my house.
He planned the job, engaged the necessary personnel and equipment, then conducted and completed the whole job in a very professional manner.
He has since returned on three more occasions to provide advice and to conduct further tree pruning / removal.
On each occasion Ben has provided knowledgeable and unbiased advise, has demonstrated a vast understanding of his trade and conducted himself in a confident and competent manner. On every occasion my property was left clean and tidy at the completion of works.
Ben has a natural affinity for his chosen trade and demonstrates ecologically sound principles in his approach to each task.
I would not hesitate to recommend Ben's services to anyone requiring a skilled tree climber / arborist to provide a quality job at competitive rates."
